This company was founded about ten years ago, starting out with specifically designed test solutions for ATM and the Utopia Interface. Today, bitGate is the market leader in POS/SPI Utopia Level 1-3 testing. The development of customized soft and hardware, especially in the ATM market segment, remains a key area. In 2002, bitGate data systems GmbH took over the entire 863x protocol-analysis product line from Acterna. Since then, this area has been further developed, establishing the company in the international market with a comprehensive 3G / UMTS test solution dominating all other technologies up to date.
